Atlantique the new Columbus Atlantique 43 meters line

Columbus Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, announces the launch of a new line devoted to elegance and versatility: Atlantique.
The first of a series of 3 boats, the Columbus Atlantique 43m fully reflects the design philosophy, conceived by Hot Lab, “Architecture for Voyagers”, a combination of stylistic, design and functional elements dedicated to traveling by sea, fully enjoying every single moment on board. .

Hot Lab has in fact taken care of both the external design and the interiors, pushing the interaction of spaces with the marine environment to the highest level. The hull silhouette is reminiscent of yachts of yesteryear and the stern area, with its large panoramic swimming pool, is located just 50 cm from the water.

Atlantique 43 is in fact a boat designed according to the owner and his family, characterized by large outdoor areas that create a unicum with the generous interior spaces. From the internal areas of the main and upper decks, there is total contact with the surrounding landscape.
The external lines are clean and elegant, with a touch of sportiness like in Italian GT cars appreciated all over the world.

The “sail” stern of the Atlantique 43m is perhaps its most distinctive area. The central swimming pool surrounded by a C-shaped seat that faces towards the stern is very scenic. The whole is very low on the water thanks to the choice of “digging” the stern area, we are in fact 50cm from the sea and, thanks also to the two folding side wings, there is the feeling of having direct contact with the external environment. Immediately behind, climbing only two steps, there are two large L-shaped seats facing aft and an expandable table that can accommodate up to 12 diners.

The dining area has therefore been moved outside, thanks to the closable “windbreaker” side windows and those that overlook the main saloon, there is a very fluid inside / outside feeling.
The internal part of the main saloon is characterized by two relaxation areas, the first (further aft) is composed of a large C-shaped sofa and a small sofa adjacent to the entrance, the second is designed as a cinema area thanks to the large sofa that looks towards an 82 ” wall tv.

There is also the possibility of fully opening the two sliding windows in the forward area of the main saloon. The rest of the main deck is divided into several areas, going towards the bow to starboard we find the main lobby with the stairwell, the lift with double exit, further on you access a guest area that can be used as a small gym or library.
The forward port area of the main is instead dedicated to the crew, there is in fact a pantry, a cold room, the laundry, the main galley and also a crew mess. The deck is completed by the captain’s cabin with en suite bathroom and a second garage dedicated to the rescue tender and toys.

The upper deck is the deck mainly dedicated to the owner (in the 6-cabin version), characterized by a completely private aft terrace. In fact, it is accessed exclusively from the owner’s apartment. In the version with sun deck there is an external staircase for access also from the stern. The interior features a suite with a king size bed facing aft and surrounded by floor to ceiling windows for a 180 ° view of the horizon. The owner’s studio, a large dressing room with a comfortable sea view vanity and the owner’s bathroom with tub and shower complete this area.
At the bow we find an outdoor lounge area and a second swimming pool surrounded by sundecks.

The lower deck hosts 5 cabins, 2 vip with bathroom on the side, 2 twins and a full-beam vip suite. From the corridor amidships you can access the upper decks both via the main stairwell and via a convenient lift that connects all the decks.
The forward area of the lower deck is dedicated to the crew, there are in fact 4 double cabins, all with their own bathroom, and a dedicated staircase leading to the second crew area on the main deck.

In the 5-cabin version, the owner’s cabin is located on the main deck and includes 4 large cabins below deck, all with private bathrooms.

The 5.5m tender is housed aft with a garage in the port side. An area has been created at the bow of the main deck to house both the second tender (rescue boat) and two moorings.

The features of Atlantique 43m are completed by a series of eco-friendly solutions – such as solar panels, water purifiers, low fuel consumption propulsion system, etc. – to provide the minimum negative impact on the environment and constantly save energy.
