This is the fourth unit of the Mangusta GranSport 33 “Project Pantelleria” series which was sold to an American owner in collaboration with Boomer Jousma and Vittoria Santarone of the Italian Yacht Group brokerage house.

The Mangusta GranSport line, designed by Alberto Mancini, which also includes the larger models of 45 and 54 meters, was designed by Overmarine Group to have a long range at cruising speeds and to be able to reach high speeds, always in maximum comfort. .
The Mangusta GranSport 33 is the composite entry level of the fast displacement line and is equipped with a latest generation propulsion package consisting of 4 735kW (~ 1000HP) Volvo Penta D13 engines coupled to 4 IPS pods that guarantee excellent efficiency and extraordinary maneuverability .
Thanks to this system, the Mangusta GranSport 33 can sail at a maximum speed of 25 knots, maintaining high levels of comfort in terms of low vibrations and silence, and a comfortable cruising speed of 21 knots which brings the range to 330 nautical miles. The compact configuration with 4 engines significantly reduces the space required in the engine room, with the consequent increase of the same available to the owner and guests.
As on every Mangusta boat, the external and internal spaces are well balanced and connected to maximize the concept of lifestyle understood as a life experience on board. Among the most popular features of this model we find the sun deck of 56 square meters (184 sq / ft) which is designed for moments of relaxation and fun; it is composed of a large lounge area and equipped sundeck and towards the bow it is equipped with an infinity pool with hydromassage.
Another distinctive element is the extendable stern platform which, once opened electrically, creates a beach area equipped with shower and ladder, giving unparalleled direct contact with the water. The garage, also at the stern, is hidden by a curtain that does not allow guests to view it and can accommodate a tender up to 5.65m and two jet skis.
The Mangusta GranSport 33 is therefore a boat with characteristics similar to a 38-40 meter yacht, but with ease of management and costs of a 30 meter. The custom interior layout includes a 4-guest cabin configuration on the lower deck, while the 40sqm (132 sq / ft) owner’s suite is located on the main deck.
The Interiors office in collaboration with the owner’s designer is already at work to design solutions tailored to his needs. Delivery of this unit is scheduled for March 2022. The next unit of the Mangusta GranSport 33, “Project Panarea”, is currently under construction and available for delivery in June 2022.
