Superyacht captains, refit companies, shipyards, marinas, service companies and industry experts meet again – in attendance, from 20 to 22 October – during YARE (Yachting Aftersales and Refit Experience), the international event between the captains and the yachting industry which will be hosted in Viareggio, the center of one of the world’s leading nautical districts. YARE – organized by Navigo, a service center for nautical innovation and development – will have its headquarters at the Principino Eventi congress center and at the prestigious Hotel Principe di Piemonte, partner of YARE with events spread in other places in Versilia and visits to the shipyards in the nautical district of the Darsena and in the nearby district of Pisa.

YARE will start on Wednesday 20 October with the arrival of the captains and the tour of the districts, while the highlight will be Thursday 21 October with The Superyacht Forum Live (Captains Edition) – organized by the international media partner The Superyacht Group and led by the journalist Martin H. Redmayne, chairman of the English publishing group – usual in-depth analysis on the numbers and the state of the superyacht sector and, in particular, on the trend of the international refit market and forecasts up to 2030. The Forum will be followed by a debate and a comparison interactive with the captains guests of the review also animated by Redmayne together with international experts in the Superyacht sector such as Ken Hickling, John Leonida, Malcolm Jacotine, Feargus Bryan and Alberto Perrone Da Zara. Already in the afternoon of the forum and on the morning of Friday 22 October, the captains will be engaged in the two sessions of the B2C Meet the Captain business meetings with appointments set through the matching supported by the Yare App with service companies in the refit and aftersales sector coming mainly from European countries of the Mediterranean and Northern Europe and the United Kingdom. YARE confirms itself as a strategic appointment for leading shipyards as regards refit and new constructions with the joining, among others, of Overmarine group, Feadship, San Lorenzo, Lusben, Fabiani Yacht, Next Yacht Group, Lürssen, Seven Stars, Leopard Yachts , Tecnopool and Monaco Marine. The relevance of regulatory compliance by captains and boats calls for the active participation of subjects such as Rina, SOS Yachting, Hill Robinson, Bluewater and Yachtalia. As for the captains, professionals are expected to participate at the helm of yachts between 30 and 60 meters. mostly foreigners (more than half with a prevalence of Greek, Turkish, English, Ukrainian nationality). There are 30 shipyards represented by the captains of large boats and jewels of the sea with a prevalence of owner-owned yachts and an interesting presence of charter yachts. The Passerelle Pitch was confirmed with the presentation of innovative projects by some participating companies and, after the positive experience of last year, the second edition of the Rina Captains’ Awards, an initiative entirely dedicated to captains, protagonists of the event and excellent interlocutors for the superyacht industry that will highlight their professionalism and skills.
