Seacily 2021: the Palermo Boat Show kicks off from 4 to 7 November

Everything is ready for Seacily2021, the boat show to be held at the Marina Villa Igiea in Palermo from 4 to 7 November. Four days of culture, tourism, debates, sailing tests and simulations, exhibitions, activities with schools, organized by Assonautica Palermo, the provincial section of Assonautica Italiana, the National Association for Pleasure Boating, and sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of Palermo and Enna.

Today, at 3 pm, the inauguration at the Marina Villa Igiea will see the participation of the president of the Sicilian Region, Nello Musumeci, of the mayor of Palermo, Leoluca Orlando; by Raffaele Macauda, ​​Maritime Directorate of the Harbor Master’s Office; the president of the Palermo-Enna Chamber of Commerce, Alessandro Albanese; the vice president of Confindustria Nautica, Piero Formenti; the vice president of Assonautica Italiana, Francesco Di Filippo; the director of the Giornale di Sicilia, Marco Romano; by Sergio Davì, commander and testimonial of the Salone; and the president of Assonautica Palermo, Andrea Ciulla.Seacily 2021Seacily 2021

The exhibitors will meet the Sicilian public of enthusiasts and professionals. It will be an opportunity to present the latest news in the nautical sector, from boats to accessories, from components to equipment, exhibition, promotion, sale and more. With an extremely rich and articulated program, the Seacily will in fact be an opportunity to also discuss the protection of the marine environment and its history; reorganization of regional legislation relating to nautical tourism; of districts, networks and digitization.

The Program . From 10 to 18.30, from Thursday 4 to Sunday 7, at the Marina di Villa Igiea, in Palermo. Today the ribbon will be cut, at 3 pm, and we will discuss “Blueconomy in Sicily: potential and strengths”.

Thursday 4, at 10, Seacily will open to the public with the conference “The protection of the marine environment and its history, between public and private”. The day will continue with the event organized with the collaboration of Suzuki Italia which will involve school children in the collection and cleaning of the beaches. At 12 the conference “Nautical Tourism in the reorganization of regional legislation on the subject” will see the participation, among others, of Manlio Messina, regional councilor for tourism. At 3.30 pm we will talk about “Underwater”, a special by Daniela Sem, President of Assonautica Liguria. On Friday 5, at 10.30 am, conference “The Districts, Networks and Digitization (PID)” which will be attended by Mimmo Turano, regional councilor for productive activities; Giovanni Acampora, president of Assonautica Italiana; Alessandro Albanese, president of Confindustria Sicilia; Carlo La Rotonda, RetImprese Director; Gaetano Fortunato, Confindustria Nautica; Carlo Ramo, representative of the Mediterranean Nautical District; Stefano Tortorici, councilor of Palermo Mediterranea; and Andrea Ciulla, President of Assonautica Palermo. At 3 pm it will be the turn of the “Stella Maris” project, promoted by Polisportive Giovanili Salesiane – PGS Italia e Sicilia.

Saturday 6 at 10.30 Sergio Davì will present his new adventure “Ocean to Ocean”, which will be followed by a friendly confrontation “Motor VS Vela” with Giuseppe Leonardi “Paletta”; at 11.30 Carlo Ramo presents the “Giro di Sicilia”. Sunday 7, Seacily will close its doors at 18.30.
