EMMYS 2026 Concludes Successfully in Poros, Showcasing the Strength of Greek Yachting

The 22nd East Med Multihull & Yacht Charter Show (EMMYS 2026) concluded successfully in Poros from 7–10 May, reaffirming its position as one of the Mediterranean’s leading crewed yacht charter exhibitions.

Organized by the Hellenic Professional Yacht Owners Association (EPEST), the event brought together industry leaders, yacht owners, brokers, charter professionals and government representatives to celebrate the continued growth of Greece’s yacht charter sector.

The official opening ceremony welcomed distinguished guests including Poros Mayor Giorgos Koutouzis, EPEST President Filippos Venetopoulos, EMMYS President Barbara Gabriel, CYBA President Nancy Van Winter, Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Konstantinos Katsafados, and senior representatives from the Greek maritime and tourism sectors.

This year’s exhibition featured an impressive fleet of 94 crewed yachts, including motor yachts, sailing yachts and catamarans, alongside 22 industry exhibitors. More than 300 international yacht brokers from 25 countries attended the show, while visitor numbers exceeded 2,500 throughout the four-day event.

A highlight of EMMYS 2026 was the popular Yacht Chefs Competition, organized in partnership with Sustainable Sailing Greece and supported by Vatistas Fish. Top culinary honors were awarded to chefs from the yachts BLUE ONE and ALENA, while additional competitions celebrated excellence in tablescaping, water presentation and crew performance.

The event also hosted a series of professional seminars and presentations covering digital client management, charter industry trends, Greek cruising itineraries and new technology solutions for the yachting sector.

Networking receptions and onboard hospitality events created valuable opportunities for industry professionals to connect, reinforcing EMMYS’ reputation as a key business platform for the Eastern Mediterranean charter market.

Supported by major sponsors including Amaala Yacht Club, Groupe Beneteau, Fountaine Pajot, Eko Leisure Marine and PLANACO Yachtyard, the exhibition once again highlighted Greece’s importance as a global yachting destination.

The EMMYS Organizing Committee extended its gratitude to the island of Poros, participating institutions, sponsors and media partners for their contribution to another successful edition of the event, which continues to strengthen Greece’s position at the heart of Mediterranean yachting.
