The French Riviera once again became the stage for one of the most elegant gatherings in the boating world as Riva Raduni 2026 welcomed 22 iconic Riva yachts for a weekend dedicated to heritage, style and the unmistakable glamour of the Mediterranean.
Held on 26–27 June, the 16th edition of the biennial event was organized by Monaco Boat Service in partnership with the Yacht Club de Monaco, continuing a tradition that has marked the opening of the Riviera’s summer season for more than three decades.
This year’s celebration paid tribute to legendary French actress Brigitte Bardot, whose image remains closely associated with the golden era of 1960s Saint-Tropez. Owners and guests embraced the nostalgic theme with vintage-inspired fashion, classic Riviera elegance and a fleet that perfectly reflected Riva’s evolution—from historic classics such as the Super Ariston to modern masterpieces including the Riva 88 Folgore.
The event began in Monaco, where participants gathered before setting off on a scenic cruise and regularity race towards Saint-Tropez. With ideal weather conditions across the Mediterranean, the fleet enjoyed a spectacular voyage before arriving at Pampelonne Beach and later the iconic harbor of Saint-Tropez for an evening celebrating the golden age of the French Riviera.
On the second day, owners and crews competed in the traditional Elegance Contest, showcasing creative interpretations of the Brigitte Bardot theme through yacht decoration, fashion and onboard presentation. The festivities concluded with the always-popular parade through the Port of Saint-Tropez, attracting visitors eager to admire one of the world’s most prestigious collections of Riva yachts.
The standout performer of the weekend was Space Cowboy, the second hull of the Riva 88 Folgore series, which secured victory in both the regularity race and the overall competition. The winning owners received a pair of engraved F.P. Journe Élégante timepieces, celebrating the Swiss watchmaker’s tenth consecutive year supporting the event.
The celebrations concluded at the Aquarama Lounge of the Yacht Club de Monaco, where owners, guests and members of the international Riva family gathered for the traditional gala dinner, reaffirming the enduring connection between the legendary Italian yacht builder and the timeless elegance of the French Riviera.
With classic craftsmanship, contemporary innovation and an atmosphere that captures the romance of Mediterranean boating, Riva Raduni continues to stand as one of the most exclusive and stylish events in the international boating calendar.
