ADSB with Novamarine for the production of rigid hull inflatable boats

ADSB, the regional leader in the new construction, repair, maintenance, refit and conversion of military and commercial vessels, today signed an
agreement with Novamarine, a world leader in the design and construction of boats with unique. The agreement mandates ADSB to design, produce and co-brand rigid hull inflatable boats (RHIBs) in the UAE, while Novamarine manages the marketing of ADSB boats in Europe.

David Massey, CEO of ADSB, and Francesco Pirro, CEO of Novamarine, signed the strategic agreement on the sidelines of the ongoing Naval Defense and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX 2021), in conjunction with the International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2021) until to 25 February at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).

Under the terms of the agreement, ADSB and Novamarine will explore market opportunities for RHIB in the GCC region and Europe, and will develop bespoke designs and solutions based on various customer needs. With the aim of building long-term synergies between the two entities, the agreement allows ADSB to locally produce RHIBs ranging in size from 8 to 20 meters – significantly expanding its current product portfolio.

Recognized for their performance and stability in various sea conditions, RHIBs are now the preferred vessel in various naval scenarios due to their versatility and durability.

The construction of the RHIB and the design of its foam filled tubes make the boat best in class, with high buoyancy, offering stability in all weather and turbulent conditions, even while carrying heavy loads. Armed forces and special forces around the world employ high-performance RHIBs in a variety of operations, search, rescue and interception.

The new agreement should pave the way for new opportunities for ADSB, reinforcing the company’s mission to provide innovative and reliable solutions that add value for its customers and stakeholders – both military and civilian.
