“A-Frame” is the name of the crane designed and built by AMS in collaboration with the Cantiere delle Marche for the first CdM Flexplorer, My Aurelia, to comfortably move tenders and toys larger than those feasible with a classic 3-deck layout where, normally, the garage or upper deck is used for transport.
The “A-Frame” is designed for perfect integration into the yacht deck. In the retracted position, the crane and hydraulic actuators are hidden by three flaps that open and close automatically, allowing the crane to exit and re-enter when the tender is launched.
For this reason, the crane guarantees maximum functionality and maximum efficiency, respecting the aesthetics of the yacht without having to sacrifice important areas of the boat such as the upper deck and the garage.
In the My Aurelia, in addition to the “A-Frame” crane, AMS has also designed and built the folding side wings and the stern hatch.
Another innovative and technological product, conceived and designed by AMS, is the manual carbon crane that very few companies in the world currently produce.
