Prada awards with 150 medals all Emirates Team New Zealand members

Today, at the Emirates Team New Zealand base, Prada – the presenting sponsor of the 36th America’s Cup – awarded all 150 members of the winning team, for the merit of having contributed to the final victory,  with a silver medal designed by Prada and manufactured by an Italian laboratory of high-quality handcrafted silverware.

The medal, of 9 cm. in diameter and weighing 150 grams, depicts on one side the logo of the “36th America’s Cup presented by Prada” designed by Mark Newson, and on the reverse the words “WINNER – Auckland – New Zealand – 2021”. It is the first time in the history of the America’s Cup that such an initiative has been extended to the entire winning team, to further enhance the recognition that Prada attributes to the sporting values of the America’s Cup.
