Rio Yachts presents a new Daytona 46, freedom and emotion

Rio Yachts, historic Italian excellence, in the year of its 60th anniversary presents a novelty in the name of freedom and luxury: Daytona 46. The Daytona range, which was born in September 2020 with Daytona 34, a very successful model that in a few months from the presentation at the Genoa Boat Show, it sells the entire production of the season, responds to a new market demand: that of practical and sporty open boats, useful for short cruises, where open spaces are preferred over those below deck and dynamic and fun performance.

Daytona 46 is the new Rio Yachts interpretation of this need and was born from the pen of one of the most talented Italian designers, Marino Alfani who took care of the concept, bodywork and interiors, going as far as engineering in collaboration with the shipyard’s technical office. . Here are the main features: walkaround and central console, maximum space on board thanks to an unlimited cockpit, ease of movement on deck in total safety, a boat devoted to conviviality, pleasure and relaxation.

15-meter boat with brilliant and fun performances, with a maximum speed of over 40 knots, it can be equipped with both n. 3 outboard motors that with n. 2 inboard Diesel. The lines are streamlined and symmetrical. The windscreen with wraparound side shoulders allows perfect visibility. The slender bow reflects a design with a strong personality. The large cockpit has a generous aft sundeck under which a tender can be housed. The stern platform, spacious also in the version with outboard motors, has the possibility of having the tenderlift and two splendid large terraces overlooking the sea can be opened both to the right and to the left, which give a contribution of substance to the already important space of the cockpit, for a unique water connection.Daytona 46Daytona 46

The cockpit table can comfortably accommodate six diners. In the central part we find a spacious “open air” kitchen that divides the cockpit from the driving area, technological, functional and practical, dominated by a comfortable sporty Bimini, light, on two legs (instead of the four canonicals of competing hulls), but very stable and generously covered. The addition of an electric curtain from the Bimini and two Arab curtains at the bow and stern allows you to easily manage the sun / shade according to the needs on board.Daytona 46Daytona 46

The passage at the bow is wide, comfortable and safe. In a few steps you arrive at the double sofa opposite to the bow of the sundeck on the deckhouse. The interiors are represented by a bright and well-kept open space. If necessary, with guests on board, the cabins can be divided by a movable partition to create the necessary privacy and exclusive comfort. The materials chosen, which can be customized by the owner, represent the maximum expression of the quality that only Made in Italy can give.
