H.M. King Felipe VI of Spain presents the trophies to the winners

 The prize-giving ceremony of the 39 Copa del Rey has been held today, Saturday August 7th, at 21h00 local time in Ses Voltes (Palma).
 
H.M. King Felipe VI of Spain has presided over the ceremony. The event was attended also by José Manuel Inchausti, CEO of Mapfre Iberia; Manuel Terroba, president of BMW Ibérica; the Balearic President, Francina Armengol; the Government Delegate in the Balearic Islands, Aina Calvo; the Mayor of Palma, José Hila; the Major General of Baleares, Fernando García Blázquez; Emerico Fuster, the president of the RCNP; and the president of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation, Javier Sanz.
 
The winners of the 39 Copa del Rey are British Alegre in class IRC 1, German Earlybird in ClubSwan 50, Romanian Natalia in ClubSwan 42, Italian G-Spot in ClubSwan 36 and the Spaniards Hydra in BMW ORC 1, Teatro Soho Caixabank in BMW ORC 2, El Carmen Elite Sails in BMW ORC 3, Dorsia Coviran Sailing Team in Mallorca Sotheby’s Women’s Cup and Let it Be in Herbalife Nutrition J70.
 
The Mapfre Trophy to the winning team of handicap system classes: Teatro Soho Caixabank, owned by Javier Banderas, while the winning team in One-Design classes has been G-spot de Giangiacomo Serena. Finally, the special Trophy ‘V Century of the First Around the World Circumnavigation’ has gone to the winner of both the handicap and One-Design classes, Teatro Soho Caixabank also.
