The Superyacht Cup Palma, Europe’s longest-running superyacht regatta, is set to deliver an unforgettable 29th edition from June 25-28, 2025. This year, the prestigious event will relocate to the newly redeveloped Club de Mar-Mallorca, marking an exciting new chapter for the regatta and its participants.

The move brings all competing yachts, owners, and crews together in the heart of Palma, right next to the vibrant SYC Race Village—the epicenter of social gatherings, networking, and post-race celebrations.
An Upgraded Venue, A Growing Fleet
Event Director Kate Branagh highlighted the significance of the new venue:

“We are always looking for ways to enhance the Superyacht Cup Palma experience, and a base at the new-look Club de Mar-Mallorca does just that. Having all the superyachts racing at our event docked together at the heart of Palma is what this regatta is all about, and interest from competitors is at an all-time high.”
Founded in 1972, Club de Mar-Mallorca is renowned for its world-class facilities tailored for larger sailing yachts. Now in the final phase of an ambitious 360º modernization project, the marina boasts state-of-the-art sustainable upgrades, making it the perfect home for the regatta.
The event’s growing popularity is reflected in a surge of new entries, with a brand-new class debuting in 2025. The highly regarded Baltic 68 Café Racers, designed by Javier Jaudenes, will make their mark, with notable contenders Ganesha and Open Season expected to race.
Additionally, the event is set to introduce a dedicated Hoek Design class, with returning competitors Vijonara (42m) and Atalante (38.7m), alongside the newly launched Linnea Aurora from the Truly Classic 128 fleet.

A Competitive Lineup for 2025
Several standout yachts from 2024 are expected to return, including:
- Cervo (39m, Tripp design)
- Rose (24m, Farr-designed Wally Yacht) – A two-time champion with a rare chance to claim a historic three-peat victory
- Gelliceaux (Southern Wind 108, first-time entry) – A recent St Barth Bucket winner, eager to make its debut at SYC Palma
Captain Clive Walker of Gelliceaux expressed his excitement:
“The crew and I are looking forward to making our debut at the Superyacht Cup Palma—it’s one of the most beloved regattas in the superyachting world. The new venue, combined with a fantastic racing location and vibrant social scene, makes this event a must-attend.”
