The French team, represented by K-Challenge Racing & Lab, has officially registered as a challenger for the 38th America’s Cup, set to take place in Naples in 2027.
The announcement coincides with the first meeting of the five founding members of the new governance structure of the America’s Cup in Naples on 21 January 2026.
Supported by the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez, France will make its 15th appearance in the world’s oldest sporting competition, continuing a long and proud tradition in high-level sailing.
This edition of the America’s Cup also ushers in a new era of governance. For the first time in 175 years, teams are working together under a shared framework: the America’s Cup Partnership (ACP). As one of the four founding members, K-Challenge will play an active role in fostering a more stable, collaborative, and forward-looking management structure for the event.
With sights set on Naples 2027, the French challenge is officially underway.
