The new, revolutionary Mangusta 165 REV has been officially presented. The 50-meter flagship of the new Maxi Open REV range is a celebration of design and functionality, comfort and performance, and is ready to sail the seas and leave its own unmistakable wake.
A project developed by the shipyard’s Engineering Department in collaboration with the renowned designer Igor Lobanov, who had already signed the lines of the Mangusta 104 REV, and who also gave his unmistakable imprint to the new Open model.
The 165 REV features an aggressive profile with rounded shapes and convexities in pure Mangusta style. Its taut, snappy lines took inspiration, as the designer himself explains, from sports cars of the 1930s. A classic and timeless beauty, therefore, in which the performance and lifestyle characteristics have been completely revolutionized and reinterpreted.

A distinctive feature, as for all Mangusta, are the large volumes on board, the comfort of the “en plein air” areas and the continuous dialogue between interiors and exteriors. The owner on board can fully enjoy the sea thanks to the multiple areas of privacy or socialization and experience a holiday that can change landscape every day, passing from one location to another in a short time, such as waking up in Portofino and then reach the Costa Smeralda.
One of the absolute novelties of this model is represented by the beach area; the stern hatch opens as if it were the roof of a sports car and reveals a beach area of 36 sqm / 387 sq / ft inside; a splendid lounge area fully equipped and in direct contact with the sea. The garage, positioned laterally, can accommodate a tender and 2 jet-skis, to enjoy the waves at any time.

On the sundeck there is a large area dedicated to socializing with comfortable sofa areas and a bar station located amidships. The immense bow area, of 60 sqm / 645 sq / ft, features a sunbathing area and an infinity-effect pool for moments of absolute relaxation.
The interiors, designed by the Milanese architecture firm M2 atelier, were conceived with warm tones and contemporary solutions with the aim of enhancing the natural light, the dominant feature of this yacht. The full-height windows in the salon minimize the division between interiors and exteriors and create a sophisticated and welcoming environment.
The splendid folding side terraces, perfectly integrated into the profile, offer a unique panorama, for a living area immersed in the sea and the sun. The main hall is proposed with a welcoming sofa area and a large dining area enriched by a bright bar counter dominated by three skylights from which natural light filters through. Also on the main deck is the very spacious 92 sqm / 990 sq / ft master suite; a true two-level open space loft designed around the aggressive side windows. An environment dedicated to maximum privacy in which there is a lounge area and an exclusive office for the Owner. From here you then enter the sleeping area with full-beam bathroom.

The lower deck is reserved for the guest area and can be offered with different customized solutions up to 5 cabins; 4 guests and a VIP or a media & lounge area or gym. A versatility of spaces that is combined with the versatility of performance, with a propulsion system with 4 MTU 16V 2000 M96L 2600 HP engines and 4 Kamewa waterjets, which allow you to reach an exhilarating top speed of 34 knots while maintaining low fuel consumption. Veem gyroscopic stabilizers offer navigation, even at low speeds, and in all sea conditions always with maximum comfort, and with a range of use that can be extended up to 650 miles.
Whatever the destination that the Owner wishes to reach, the Mangusta 165REV will allow him to do so in absolute comfort with an enviable style and high performance, in full Mangusta style.
