Videoworks created the on-board systems Rossinavi M/Y EIV

Videoworks, leader in audio/visuals, entertainment, IT, lighting and comfort market, created the systems aboard the 49-metre Rossinavi M/Y EIV, confirming its ability to innovate and adding another project to the 700 plus it has developed in over 20 years of activity.

“The relationship of trust established with the Rossi family dates back to the creation of the on-board systems for the iconic Numptia superyacht,” explains Videoworks President Mauro Pellegrini. “A partnership that has been increasingly consolidated over the years and is renewed again on board the new high-tech M/Y EIV”.

Videoworks designed the AV, IT, CCTV, telephone and lighting systems. The AV-IT system is based on the philosophy of a centralised system with all the main electronics installed in three 42-unit rack cabinets (approx. 2 m high). All the hardware for the IT infrastructure (cabled and WI-FI) is made by CISCO, a world leader for its reliability and performance. The telephone system includes both fixed telephones in the technical areas and cordless telephones, and is connected to the GSM and satellite lines on board.

A unique entertainment system
Latest systems integrations now must include being able to watch a soccer match on a big ultra-high resolution screen, listen to music with speakers faithfully reproducing pure sounds, give a party on board, manage lights, blinds, air conditioning and multi-media content easily, and enjoy a safe, dependable internet connection. The Rossinavi M/Y EIV is the perfect example.

The M/Y EIV’s upper deck cinema lounge is equipped with a SONY 4K projector and an impressive 100″ screen. Both the projector and the screen feature electrical movement allowing them to ‘disappear’ into the ceiling when not in use. Owners and guests can enjoy a complete audio-visual experience thanks to the many sources available, including:
•    Kaleidescape 4K video on demand
•    Apple TV and associated services
•    Kartina IP TV
•    Satellite TV (EU – USA)
•    BD/DVD player
•    Airplay audio-video streaming
•    Auxiliary HDMI sockets
Entertainment systems enrich and enhance relax on board throughout this elegant 49-metre vessel. A perfect example is the sophisticated Party Mode system allowing the same music source to be played in shared spaces and in the guests’ and owners’ cabins. The owners’ cabin also features a 4K screen, hidden behind a special mirror to conceal it from view when not in use. The crew cabins, the laundry and galley areas are equipped with a simple but comprehensive audio-visual system including TV and Apple TV.
The CCTV system, made up entirely of Panasonic, Canon and Axis professional products, includes eight high-resolution IP cameras, two control stations with MILESTONE software, and a network recorder for recording video flows and archiving them in encrypted form. The CCTV system is also equipped with a motion alarm connected to the vessel’s monitoring system.

All the hardware in the system controlling the lighting and blinds is made by Lutron, the world’s leading manufacturer of lighting control systems. Videoworks also took care of system engineering (liaising with electricians and lighting suppliers) and supplied the materials for the electrical panels and the control keypads, complete with silk-screen printing, to make time on board even more pleasant and comfortable.

Two wall-mounted touchscreens, located in the crew area and in the pantry, allow to control the audio of the common areas (Party mode included) and the tracking of the Satellite TV dishes. In addition, they even show a comprehensive view of the racks temperature, with over-temperature audible alarm to prevent any warming issues.

Following the delivery of the Rossinavi M/Y EIV last November, a “handover” took place between Videoworks Med and Videoworks USA, with the participation of the onboard ETO. This solution made it possible to take stock of some of the yacht’s needs (such as installation of TV SAT software for the USA) prior to its departure for the United States, thus optimising the entire after sales service.

Rossinavi M/Y EIV, a yacht with an international soul
Delivered to her American owner last November, the full-custom M/Y EIV superyacht combines the experience of Rossinavi and of Venetian design studio Team for Design – Enrico Gobbi, in charge of exterior and interior design, with technologies and mechanical components from the United States. The result is a unique superyacht with lines of timeless elegance enclosing impressive interior spaces, accommodating four spacious double cabins and a master suite on the forward part of the main deck and featuring a private terrace to starboard, and all equipped with the latest technology in the service of comfort.

“Superyachts are the perfect way to travel the world,” says Rossinavi COO Federico Rossi, ” so it’s important not only to install top quality technological components, but to create a group able to provide assistance and support anywhere in the world. A synergy we can offer, thanks to Videoworks and their partners.”
