Palm Beach Motor Yachts announces Sanctuary Cove Boat Show lineup

Capitalizing on an Australian market that is demonstrating high demand for the brand, Palm Beach Motor Yachts is proud to announce their line-up for the upcoming 2021 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS), to be held May 20-23 in Sanctuary Cove, Queensland. Palm Beach Motor Yachts is the brainchild of founder/CEO and record-setting sailor Mark Richards, who will attend SCIBS to personally present two yachts from the burgeoning Australian marque.

The first yacht on display will be the southern hemisphere debut for the all-new Palm Beach GT60, a yacht that is already gaining an enviable reputation worldwide. Sporty and “sleek chic,” the fuel-efficient GT60 is the second release in Palm Beach’s GT Series after the GT50. The GT design places a heavy emphasis on powerful top-end performance blended with an economic, seaworthy ride derived from its unique V-Warp™ hull design and world-class interior craftsmanship with the latest styling cues. To illustrate the GT’s global demand, two recent hulls in the series are shipping to European owners next month.

Armed with twin IPS1350 engines, the GT60 can hit speeds exceeding 40 knots, but at 35 knots the efficiency of the V-Warp™ hull results in a class-leading 75 gallons-per-hour fuel burn. Inside, the yacht features two luxurious staterooms, premium joinery work, and sophisticated yet contemporary styling.

The other model on display at SCIBS—the iconic Palm Beach 50 — is one of the most successful models in the Palm Beach line-up and was awarded “Best New Powerboat”  when she debuted in the United States. Like the GT60, the PB50 is a two-stateroom model and features timeless, stylish lines, class-beating efficiency, and on-water performance. The PB50 offers customers top speeds exceeding 30 knots, and a cruising range approaching 400 nautical miles at a 21-knot cruise. Like all Palm Beach designs, the open concept main deck features sweeping views from the helm, aft to the cockpit, and is also available with a flybridge option.

Both models will be shown in a new section of the marina. Check out the exhibitor’s list for Palm Beach Motor Yachts and Grand Banks Yachts at sanctuarycoveboatshow.co.au for updated location information.

Palm Beach Motor Yachts opens NSW factory and customer support hub
Due to growing demand in Australia and the surrounding region, Palm Beach Motor Yachts has recently relocated its Australian headquarters from Berkley Vale (NSW) to Newport (NSW) with a marina that boasts full-service sales and service capabilities.

The company’s Newport facility is another strategic investment designed to maintain value and enhance the customer experience. By having a factory-direct sales model, there is a 100-percent focus on the customer by company employees, and they are 100-percent focused on the product lines of Palm Beach Motor Yachts. The new facility includes a full-service marina with a company service and warranty team who can also be mobile for customers throughout the country. “It’s fantastic to now have this location on the Pittwater, where it all began,” says CEO and Palm Beach founder, Mark Richards. “We have a very motivated and experienced team that schedules and services our clients’ yachts at this easy-to-access facility. Bringing the yachts here is always the priority, however, when that is not possible, our team is set up to go to the customer when necessary…geography is no barrier!”

A visit to the facility on any day might reveal the entire breadth of the PB line and the company’s dedicated to creating a prolific range of models unrivalled within this market. Currently the Newport facility is playing custodian to 12 clients’ Palm Beach Yachts, lined up on the marina like a rainbow of thoroughbreds. A short cruise down Pittwater will have you spotting the stylish and distinctive designs of Palm Beaches dotted throughout the bay, in marinas and on private jetties.
