Interesting motorboat weekend 26-27 June 2021 in Ancona

Intense weekend of races for the Motonautica pilots, engaged in various seasonal events both in Italy and abroad. In addition to the Offshore, Endurance and Formula Junior Elite Circuit Championships that started yesterday in Puglia, in Rodi Garganico, this Saturday and Sunday there will also be the Circuit, Jet Ski and Radio Controlled pilots in action.

Polish trip to Chodziez, for four Italian pilots of Motonautica Circuito, who on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 June, will be involved in the F / 500 and F / 250 classes European Championships. Italian Drivers Representative: Roberto Gandolfi.

Both Championships are in a single stage and therefore will fight for the conquest of the 2021 European titles in the category.

The European F / 500, which counts 13 pilots of 10 different nationalities, will see Giuseppe Rossi from Piacenza from Caorso and Andrea Ongari from Cremona, both bearers of the Chiavenna Nautical Club.

A great challenge especially for Rossi, who in the course of his career won the European title of the F / 500 in 2017; great commitment and enthusiasm, also for Andrea Ongari, who made his debut in this important Circuit class at the Italian stage of the F / 500 World Championship held in Boretto (RE) on 11-13 June last.

Among the drivers who will give Chodziez a hard time to the Azzurri, the Polish Marcin Zielinski (reigning 2019 European champion), the Slovak Marian Jung (two times European champion) and the Hungarian Attila Havas (holder of eight European titles of this category).

In the Polish race of the European F / 250 (which counts 9 drivers from 6 different nations) there will be the two brothers from Piacenza of AMD San Nazzaro: Alessandro and Massimiliano Cremona. An opportunity to challenge at high levels for these two Italian champions, especially for Alessandro, the most titled with a continental title in the 250 class won in 2007.

Among the foreign drivers, the Hungarian Peter Bodor, who was European F / 250 champion in 2017.

Four heats for both categories: the first two on Saturday starting at 14.40 and 17.00 (free and timed practice on Saturday morning), the remaining two on Sunday morning (from 12 and 13.40). Award ceremony scheduled at 4.00 pm.

ITALIAN WATERBIKE AND REMOTE-CONTROLLED CHAMPIONSHIPS

Starting with the Watercraft, Ancona will host the fourth stage of the 2021 Italian Championship, which will see the riders compete in the stretch of water in front of Marina Dorica in the marina area. To organize this important and awaited appointment is the ASD Amici del Mare in collaboration with the ASD H20 Racing Team.

This afternoon from 3.30 pm, registration and technical checks of all categories and classes. The two scheduled heats will be disputed at the end of free practice, the first Saturday 26th from 12.45 pm and the second Sunday 27th June from 12.00 pm, and then end with the awards ceremony.

Many registered, over 120 pilots, and great enthusiasm on the part of all the participants.

The competing categories are Runabout, Ski, Endurance, Freestyle, Youth Spark and the Women category.

There are 15 classes: for the Runabout: F1-F2-F4 Male and Female – F4 Novice and F1 Veterans; for Ski: F1-F1Veterans-F2-F3-Open, for Endurance: F1- F2 Amateur; the Freestyle; for Youth Spark 12-14 and 15-18 years.

In Italy, thanks to the FIM, the youth sector of jet skis has experienced exponential growth, especially due to the introduction of the Spark category. The very high number of young riders participating in the 2021 Jetski Championship has prompted the Jetski Commission to make further changes to the regulations, because the Federation is very sensitive to the safety and protection of young people in the race. Also for Ancona, the number of young drivers competing is high.

After Ancona, the Jet Ski Championship will be in Gallipoli (LE), from 9 to 11 July, for the fifth and penultimate stage of the season.
