Ice Yachts presents the Ice 70, designed by Felci Yacht Design

Elegance in the style choices, harmonious both internally and externally, in which classic and modern style elements are based, thus emphasizing exclusivity and refinement.

Technology in content, both on a design and construction level. The shipyard has made use of all its decades of experience, using excellent techniques and materials, such as the infusion for the production of composite parts, the extensive use of carbon fibers for the hull, deck, structures, ensuring great rigidity and high safety factors.

Performance, thanks to the shape of the hull characterized by a reduced wet surface and at the same time by a high form stability, thus ensuring fast and comfortable cruises and participation in long distance offshore races with emotions that are all to be lived.

Versatility of the interior layouts: Ice Yachts gives the opportunity for optional customization of the interior furnishings. In fact, an ad hoc project for shapes, colours, and materials can be created in order to make your yacht truly unique

The gaze as soon as you get on board is lost from the cockpit towards the bow with large spaces and an order that give the boat an incredible exclusivity. Stylistically, the deck is characterized by a squared, flat and slender deckhouse, with large double-layer glass windows, from which the light that below deck illuminates the entire raised saloon diffuses. The large cockpit stems from a thorough ergonomic and functional study, deep enough to provide safety and equipment, rationally arranged to facilitate the crew and helmsman. The primary winches and the ones of the mainsail are set back and easily accessible. The mainsail halyard runs below deck back to the cockpit and can be operated remaining directly at the wheel. The hydraulic rams that tunes the backstay are folded into the garage. The primary goal was to achieve a very clean deck.ICE 70ICE 70

The opening stern gives access to the large garage, where you can stow the 3 meters sails and numerous other objects needed on board; the stern platform, flush on the water, allows an easy descent to the sea. The aft gangway is hydraulic and retractable.ICE 70ICE 70

The Yacht is equipped with a carbon bowsprit, designed in every detail and carefully built, to fit both gennaker and code zero and to act as a bow roller for the anchor.ICE 70ICE 70

The cockpit benches are wide and made even more comfortable by the possibility of fixing water-repellent cushions made “by design”, which can be removable and easily stowed in the garage, which also has two entrances from the cockpit. In the cockpit, the general cleaning, the two aft lockers for the storage of the life rafts, the retractable toe rail, and the completely hidden recessed mainsail travel represent unique elements. Always taking into account the mixed classic and hi-tech materials, the carbon rudder columns, and the new instruments pods, which are specifically designed and shaped in order to follow the guidelines of the deckhouse, allow to ergonomically locate all the electronic components that are now an integral part of every modern yacht.
It is interesting to consider all the machinery, such as the main engine, the bow, and stern truster, the anchor and mooring winch, all the hydraulic rams, including the one that operates the lifting keel, and the full deck lighting system can be operated from the consoleICE 70ICE 70

Cockpit Table
By customizing it, it represents an authentic piece of architecture and technology. Made by carbon and teak, it is characterized by a shaped base in a light and elegant way. Inside, there are two separate compartments for the storage of various kinds of objects and three large displays for navigation electronics. The table top is folding and allows 6/8 people to dine comfortably

Dodger and Bimini
Obviously this formal research extended across the whole project could not fail to involve the dodger and the b mini, both elements that by definition must be able to mix seaworthiness and functionality, with that comfort that allows you to fully enjoy the pleasure of sailing and experiencing the sea. Both built with the help of the virtual room that allows you to “get on board” and verify every functional concept in advance, they remain elegantly linked to the muscular forms of the bridge.

The Bimini, made from two aerodynamically profiled carbon arches, is full of interesting details, such as the central window, the internal lighting, and the possibility of creating a truly protected environment where to comfortably live outside even when the weather is not particularly favourable.ICE 70ICE 70

Many details are designed and modelled specifically to add exclusivity to this yachts. For instance, the recess of the dodger is completely hidden by teak finished panels; the fairleads made CNC, which are inserted inside the bulwark that runs seamlessly from stern to bow, and the pulpits, shaped in an exclusive way, take the lines of the formal project in an interesting philosophical unicuum.

“The tradition of the best naval carpentry in synergy with a classic modern style project for an exclusive environment”.
Umberto Felci

The wood veneers used in the furnishing of this first model is natural teak, the first message of how classic and nautical tradition can be combined with modernity. The inserts that cover the vertical elements and create a continuum in all living spaces are in natural leather. We chose to play with the shades of beige and white for the fabrics, with some nuances for the seats and sofas, thus diversifying the two living areas: that of the lighter living area, that of the TV, a darker gradation, to give to this place of relaxation greater intimacy. Even the objects are cured, always in the classicism philosophy in a modern key. The half-hull model, as well as the design lamp from Flos are combined in harmony with a contemporary work.ICE 70ICE 70ICE 70ICE 70

The teak floor, with dark wengé staves, slides longitudinally from stern to bow, stylistically binding all environments. The aft area, organized with the captain’s cabin, communicating with the kitchen area, is completely independent in order to guarantee considerable privacy for the owner and his guests. The bow is a dedicated area to the master cabin, large and elegant with a master bathroom complete with shower and sauna all covered in teak and with a study where you can retreat in absolute tranquillity, and to the guest area consisting of a cabin with double bed and large wardrobes and a dedicated bathroom.

“A unique boat that expresses all our passion to make your dreams come true.”
Marco Malgara, Ice Yachts
