Nawi Island Marina, the all-new yachting destination in Fiji is nearing completion, and is set to open its doors for business later this year.
Nawi Island Marina is situated in the lush, idyllic Savusavu Harbour and will be home to 132 fully serviced berths, 21 of which are dedicated for superyachts up to 85-metres in length. The marina is strategically nestled between three islands – Nawi, Korovesa and Nawi Lailai – to provide year-round mooring. Unlike most other Fijian marinas, Nawi Island is fully rated to qualify for cyclone insurance.
The marina will be world-class and brimming with outstanding amenities, including a yacht club, swimming pool, retail shops, Marina condos and access to extensive service facilities. These service facilities will be found “minutes away from Balaga Bay” at Nawi Island’s boatyard. The boatyard will be home to a dry dock, hard-standing facility and long-term dry storage. It also boasts the largest Marine Travel lift – 75 tonne capacity – in Fiji.
The region itself is a hive of activities and the marina boasts some of the most outstanding areas of natural beauty on its doorstep. The Vuadomo waterfall is said to be the local’s hot spot, as it’s the perfect place for freshwater swimming. The Fijian sea is, of course; crystal clear and the surrounding inlets are adorned with silky beaches.
