Extra Yachts, part of the Palumbo Superyachts portfolio, has officially launched the highly anticipated X90 Fast in Ancona, Italy. The first hull in the 26.7-metre series, named Iva, is now ready to turn heads at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival 2025.
The client, represented by Kristina Falkone of Aberton Yachts, will be the first to experience this groundbreaking blend of speed, volume, and Italian artistry.
⚓ Elegant Power Meets Bold Architecture
Constructed in GRP, Iva reflects a sleek, performance-focused aesthetic, defined by sporty curves, a low-profile silhouette, and refined hull glazing. The exterior lines come courtesy of Hot Lab, the Milan-based studio known for its sculptural design language.
“The X90 Fast is designed for mature owners seeking strong identity and exceptional onboard living,” said a spokesperson from Extra Yachts. “Its level of customisation is truly unmatched in its category.”
🛋️ Five Cabins, Full Beam Luxury
The yacht offers generous accommodation for 10 guests across five cabins, including a full-beam master suite amidships that benefits from the vessel’s 7.1-metre beam. Natural wood tones, white finishes, and glass elements combine to create a bright, open interior atmosphere, with an emphasis on seamless outdoor views.
Crew accommodation is provided for four, with a clever layout that preserves guest privacy throughout.
🍸 Thoughtful Zoning, Inside and Out
A key feature of Iva is her zoned interior, separating the main saloon and stern cockpit with a galley equipped with up/down privacy windows. This configuration allows crew to discreetly access their quarters and the sundeck while leaving the fore lounge and wheelhouse exclusively for guest use.
The aft cockpit features:
- 10-person dining table
- C-shaped lounge
- Dedicated sunbathing area
- Integrated bathing platform
Above, the spacious sundeck (86 sqm total outdoor volume) includes a second sun lounge, a fully-equipped bar, and a dining/relaxation area—with options for a Jacuzzi or second helm station.
⚙️ Performance Without Compromise
Powered by three Volvo Penta IPS 1350 engines, the X90 Fast reaches a top speed of 30 knots and cruises comfortably at 24 knots, with an impressive range of 1,000 nautical miles at cruising speed.
This model was first revealed during the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival, alongside the 29-metre X98 RPH—another signal of Extra Yachts’ growing momentum in the performance-luxury segment.
Iva is more than a debut — she’s the bold beginning of a new chapter for Extra Yachts and a strong contender for star of the show at Cannes 2025.
