U.S. Melges 24 Class Announces 2021 National Ranking Series

The U.S. Melges 24 Class Association (USM24CA) is proud to present its National Ranking Series calendar for 2021. The ten-part Series spans the North American continent featuring a wide variety of racing opportunities, from multi-class events to dedicated Melges 24 regattas.

At least one regatta from every U.S. Melges 24 Class district is included on the ranking to give all teams, traveling or otherwise, the chance to participate on an active, nationwide circuit. Marquee championships such as Charleston Race Week, U.S. Nationals, several Regional Championships and the legendary Fall Championship are included.

The following events are the 2021 U.S. Melges 24 National Ranking Series:

Event No. 1: Bacardi Cup Invitational (Winter Series No. 3)
March 10-13, hosted by Bacardi and Shake-a-Leg Miami – Miami, FL

Event No. 2: Charleston Race Week
April 8-11, hosted by Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina – Charleston, SC

Event No. 3: Gold Cup
April 13-15, hosted by Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina – Charleston, SC

Event No. 4: Newport Regatta
July 10-11, hosted by Sail Newport – Newport, RI

Event No. 5: Fiesta Cup / West Coast Championship
July 24-25, hosted by Santa Barbara Yacht Club – Santa Barbara, CA

Event No. 6: Columbia Gorge One Design Regatta
July 31 – August 1, hosted by Columbia Gorge Racing Association (CGRA) – Cascade Locks, OR

Event No. 7: Invitational Regatta
August 21-22, hosted by Grand Traverse Yacht Club – Traverse City, MI

Event No. 8: U.S. National Championship
September 17-19, hosted by Crescent Sail Yacht Club – Detroit, MI

Event No. 9: Fall Championship
October 2-3, hosted by Lake Geneva Yacht Club – Lake Geneva, WI

Event No. 10: Atlantic Coast Championship / Bushwhacker Cup
November 12-14, hosted by Pensacola Yacht Club – Pensacola, FL
