The Yacht Racing Forum is proud to announce AMAALA Yacht Club as its Lead Partner for the 2025 edition, to be held in Amsterdam on November 20-21.
This partnership unites one of the world’s most ambitious new sailing destinations with the sport’s leading annual conference dedicated to the business of the sport.
Located on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast, AMAALA Yacht Club will also host the finish of The Ocean Race in 2027. “We are delighted to welcome AMAALA as our lead partner,” said Bernard Schopfer, CEO of the Yacht Racing Forum. “AMAALA’s commitment to hosting high-performance sailing events aligns perfectly with our mission to advance the business of the sport on a global scale, unite its key stakeholders and work collaboratively to shape the future of our sport.”
AMAALA Yacht Club will be a hub for wellness, tourism and sport. The whole region of AMAALA will be powered entirely by renewable energy and phase one of this ambitious development will consist of eight resorts offering approximately 1,470 hotel rooms.
In addition to The Ocean Race, AMAALA Yacht Club is developing a robust annual calendar of regattas, training programs, and high-profile invitational events, positioning itself not only as a luxury marina but as a dynamic race organizer.
“AMAALA is proud to support the Yacht Racing Forum as Lead Partner,” said Adrian Peet, AMAALA Yacht Club General Manager. “This is a unique platform to connect with the international sailing community, share knowledge and showcase our vision for a world-class sailing destination. We look forward to contributing to the Forum and meeting delegates from around the world in Amsterdam this November.”
The 2025 Yacht Racing Forum will bring together over 300 key stakeholders—including athletes, class associations, technical suppliers, sponsors, yacht clubs, and event organizers—for two days of business, networking, and innovation in the heart of Amsterdam.
