Versilcraft launches 45m Miss Candy in Pisa

The historic Pisa shipyard Versilcraft has launched the 44.9-metre superyacht Miss Candy, in a private ceremony on Thursday. The steel and aluminum yacht belongs to the shipyards new Sport Adventure series and has been purchased by a long-time customer of the Versilcraft brand.

The owner worked closely alongside the shipyards architects Antonio Luxardo and Daniele Perotto, who have worked on previous projects with the owner and shipyard. Optima Design were chosen to create the naval architecture, interior design and exterior lines of the yacht and worked closely with the designers and surveyors throughout the project.

The 499 GT superyacht carries two tenders in the bow garage, she also has an aft beach club with a 24 square-metre deck. Able to accommodate as many as 10 guests, the yacht features a VIP stateroom on the main deck, a master suite on the upper deck and three staterooms on the lower deck. The owner’s suite features a 40 square-metre open deck and the stateroom spans a total of 70 square-metres, offering her owner unparalleled space and privacy.

In addition to this exciting launch, Antonio Luxardo is working in a series of new Versilcraft designs, from 52 metre to 70 metre versions for the SportAdventure series.
